Some builders provide a third-party warranty. The State of Texas requires one year for material and workmanship, two years for systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, septic, etc.) ten years on structure and habitability. The builder is not responsible for manufacturing warranties (such as appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, etc.) These manufacturers provide their own warranties.

Can I Make Changes to the Custom Home Design During Construction in Texas?

Most custom builders will allow you to make design changes during construction, however; this will cause delays in construction, as well as a delay in moving into your new home.  In some cases, it is impossible for the builder to determine the number of days your home will be delayed.
